My Story

Hi, I'm Emily. I'm an experienced content writer with a passion for writing web content and blog content. I've always loved medical and healthcare topics, which led me to enroll in a BSN Nursing program. During my senior year of college, I quickly realized that direct patient care was not for me.

I soon realized my strength in writing. I landed a part-time job as a peer writing tutor at the local tutoring center, further securing my interest in writing. After college, I transitioned into the world of non-profit grant writing, working as a Grants Director for a large non-profit for about 4 years. During this time, I helped secure millions of dollars of both private and public grant funding. In addition to writing and submitting private and public grant proposals, my role as Grants Writer involved the creation of newsletter content, appeal letters, and press releases.

While working full-time as a Grant Writer, I began freelancing on nights and weekends. I soon fell in love with blog and SEO article writing, a new way to use my writing skills. Over the past seven years, I have helped hundreds of clients create high-quality blogs and SEO-friendly web content across various niches. Today, I work full-time as a passionate freelance content writer, helping websites develop unique web content that drives traffic.
